Tool Library Network
In an effort to better serve every community, The Workshop wants to expand to multiple communities. This would give members access to a wider selection of tools and create a foundation for larger service opportunities
Makerspace and Education Center
One of our plans for the future is to incorporate a makerspace and education center into The Workshop. This would allow members to come and have a space to design and build as well as learn about tools or projects they want to do.
We would also love to partner with local schools to take what kids learn in the classroom and give them a place to apply it in the real world. We want to make things that interest them while using what they've learned in school to encourage their desire for learning
Disaster Relief
After disasters tool are a important resource that may be hard to come by. In the future The Workshop could be invaluable in providing tools to communities in need
Community Service Database
Another future opportunity The Workshop is looking into is a community service database. This would allow the community to submit and view needs in the community. Easy identification of needs means easier organization of volunteer groups
Tool Delivery
Tools will be closer then you think! With tool delivery the tools you need will show up when you need them
